Caitlyn Deviney (Di-VIN-ee) is an independent singer/songwriter & creative curator based just outside Philadelphia.

Her latest creative project included Homestead Collective (2017-2021). Homestead Collective doubled as an indie-folk duo and community organization celebrating creativity through continual gatherings. With the regular hosting of events and backyard house concerts for the community, Homestead Collective also performed in venues & homes all over the Northeast and Southwest areas of the U.S, released 2 EPs, and opened a music venue in January 2020 called The Homestead in Glenside, PA. The venue was kickstarted by their community who raised over $11k to design and open a listening room style venue and creative space. The venue was only open for six weeks before the pandemic hit in 2020. Faced with opposition and hard decisions, the venue closed in April of 2021 and Homestead Collective’s first and last full-length album, “Inner Monologues” (listen here) was released the following October. 

As of 2023, Caitlyn performs at ceremonies and cocktail hours for weddings in the Philadelphia area and continues to play her original music locally. She currently curates and hosts live music at The Co Lab in Glenside, PA and hopes to continue to foster ideas and visions for events, workshops, & other creative endeavors within that community. She teaches piano & songwriting to a wide age range of people on all levels of music ability, and is finishing the Spring season teaching music to K-8th graders at Plymouth Performing Arts Center’s musical theater programs.

Influenced by artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Phoebe Bridgers, Tyson Motsenbocker, Donovan Woods, Lizzy McAlpine, & The Lumineers, Caitlyn’s ethereal voice met with memorable melodies creates for a peacefully energetic and authentic experience for listeners. 

When she isn’t singing, she can be found slinging espresso shots, embroidering or doing DIY projects, spending time outside with her partner, Noah, and cuddling their old kitty, Pewter, and chocolate lab, Tot.
