Caitlyn Deviney (Di-VIN-ee) is an independent singer/songwriter & creative curator based just outside Philadelphia.

Striking out to be a full-time musician post-college, Caitlyn participated in different successful music groups, toured and performed locally, regionally, and nationally, and she always felt that her purpose included not only performing, but curating with intention. Over the years, she continued on to host local potluck/open mic nights, backyard concerts, songwriting workshops, retreats, cross-collaboration projects with other musicians and eventually opened a local music venue and creative space with the support of her community.

After the pandemic shook the world, Caitlyn pivoted away from the music industry to manage a local coffee shop. Grieving the death of a dream and trusting that nothing was wasted, she is reconnecting to the foundation of music in her life again.

As of 2023, Caitlyn performs at ceremonies and cocktail hours for weddings in the Philadelphia area and continues to play her original music locally. She is currently involved at The Co Lab in Glenside, PA by way of curating and hosting live music as well as holding Music & Movement classes with friend & musical partner, Brianna Anglés. Caitlyn teaches piano, guitar & songwriting privately to a wide age range of students with all levels of music ability. She has taught music to K-8th graders at Plymouth Performing Arts Center’s within their musical theater programs, and offers additional Music & Movement classes to area nursery schools for kids 2-PreK.

Caitlyn’s consistently ethereal vocals and memorable melodies accompanied by her bold yet peaceful presence make for an experience laced with connection to humanity, personal struggle, and engagement with our questions, emotions, hopes and fears. Influenced by artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Phoebe Bridgers, Tyson Motsenbocker, Donovan Woods, Lizzy McAlpine, & The Lumineers, Caitlyn’s ethereal voice met with memorable melodies creates for a peacefully energetic and authentic experience for listeners. 

When she isn’t singing, she can be found slinging espresso shots, embroidering or doing DIY projects, spending time outside with her partner, Noah, and cuddling their old kitty, Pewter, and chocolate lab, Tot.
